Over on one of my card making groups there has been long and serious discussion of these little four-legged critters and how some folks feel about them. I agree. They're cute, fun to watch, and very good for the garden. We have a little chameleon who's taken up residence in our small garden along with several lizard families, much to the delight of the little wrens and sparrows who congregate around our bird baths and feeding stations. He is so quick, Lightning we call him, and when the birds see him they all go scurrying after him. I think he's playing tag, knowing he'll never get caught! A real jokester, he is. That prompted my to get out one of my favorite Edwin stamps, so here I am paying homage to a much maligned but much needed species. To all the lizard type critters in the world, here's to you. Keep eating those flies and other flying nasties!
Even if you're not a fan of these reptilians, you must admit Edwin is a pretty cute little guy!
