Play It Again or Once More With Feeling

In between coughing spasms, med reactions and sleepless nights from the worst case of bronchitis I've ever had, I managed to finish my special birthday project for my 93 yr old aunt. I got the template from Card Carousel and only modified it by adding a base so I could attach a music button that plays 'Happy Birthday'. I cut a thin piece of styrofoam to hold a large bouquet of Wild Orchid flowers inside the lid and decorated the outside with some peel offs and ribbon. I used more peel offs and ribbon, plus the music charm, on the acetate display box.  Voila! Now to find a mailing box so I can ship it off in time for her big day. It took me three tries to get the piano together correctly, but I think it was worth the effort.

Watch out, Lance Armstrong!

Edwin's pedaling as fast as he can on his new bike. It's the first day of school and he doesn't want to be late. Tilda would never let him live it down and besides, he wants to show off his new wheels. He's taking his favorite shortcut and, with any luck, will beat Tilda to the door.
Ooooh, is that the school bell I hear ringing? Hope he makes it.

I embossed his frame with the Tiny Bubbles Cuttlebug folder, to look like a cobblestone road, making for a bumpy, but fun ride. Kinda sets your teeth a-chattering, doesn't it?
The epoxy stickers and background paper are from my stash, and he's colored with Copics.
After school, he's headed over to two challenges:
OWH for Anything but Glitter  and Magnolia-licious Highlights for Falll Colors/Back to School.
