Make a Splash

I got this new House Mouse "Diving for Gold" stamp just in time to participate in the House Mouse Make A Splash Challenge over at House Mouse and Friends. This really was a challenge for me as I'm not used to working with images this large. It's a 4 x 5 stamp and I was a little intimidated at the start. Finally, after my fourth or fifth stamping attempt I got it right, and it was easy going from there on. I really have to practice with these big guys more 'cuz they're so darn cute!

I stamped this with VersaFine Vintage Sepia and colored with Copics. and guess what? It was fun!!

  1. I love this Sue. Looks really inviting, nice time to take a dip here that's for sure.
    Will have to look into this stamp, as it is perfect for our extremely hot weather.

  8. Awww how cute is this? too darn cute..LOL your right some of the stamps are very large but so much detail & scenes to them fab job with this image colouring great take on the Water theme chall.

  20. First let me say - your coloring is wonderful. This is the cutest image. I haven't seen this stamp before. The papers are perfect as is the color selection. What a cute little fish to go with a really fun card.
