I was looking back over the past couple of years, at some of the cards and projects I've made, and it suddenly hit me. Of all the colors and combinations I've used, there are only a few in lavender or purple. It wasn't deliberate, those are just colors that are not in my personal color library or that I "see" when pulling out the ink, paper and embellies. I think Pink is second lowest on my list, except for the fact that I just finished 30 pink cards for a friend's Breast Cancer Awareness auction. Well, I had to remedy that so I got Suzanne Dean's Lavender Copic bundle from Susana's Custom Art and Card Design, then had to hunt up some lavender/purple dp, which I didn't have either! Solved that problem with the purchase of KaiserCraft's Lilac Avenue Collection - oh so pretty! So now I've colored Tilda Celebrates Summer in her pretty new lavender frock, chasing butterflies and picking flowers. I hope I can remember to use these colors more often. They're too pretty to neglect!
