Birthday Season, Again

Family birthday season starts in April and I have to get hoppin' to get everything done. Unlike the White Rabbit, I don't intend to be late for anything! That way I'll never have to do one of those "sorry I missed your birthday" cards that just don't seem to capture the spirit of the occasion. Frogs and elephants and such just don't do anything for me, so I'll try to always be on time, thank you. Therefore, this card, for my niece going on 9 (oh my gosh, how time flies!!!) features her favorite image - Tilda, of course. She has come to expect Tilda on all her cards and who am I to disappoint. I cut this one from a Cuttlebug cut and emboss folder that's a fave of mine. I wish there were more, they're fun to use. She's colored with glitter pens and Copics and adorned with a Prima bouquet and some clear chandelier beads. Inside, the cupcake image is a Squigglefly digi covered in glitter ink, a mini Tilda and a gift card holder containing - guess what? A gift card!

This is a late, hurry up post 'cuz I have to get this off in the mail. It took a couple of days to get my Internet service back after some little gremlin infected me with a VIRUS and blocked my access! Oh well, such is life and a good lesson. The moral: always have a current backup available. You never know when you'll need it!

  7. Hey Miss Puddle Lady! My computer and I do not get along and if he gets a virus I might just shoot him and put him out of his misery. Sue this is a beautiful card and all your details are gorgeous. What girl, young or old, would not love this card. I love it Sue and I particularly like the cupcake candle stick. Now that is precious.
    Hugs to you
