When my son's co-worker asked for a birthday card for a three year old friend, the first thing I asked was, of course, who does she like? Well, much to my delight, it turned out to be Ariel, the Little Mermaid!!! and guess what I bought recently? That's right. Mini Mermaid Tilda. Sure couldn't pass up that opportunity, so I went on a hunt for a coloring book Ariel image and this is the result. So now, my mini mermaid has a few ink marks on her, as all good stamps should have. IMO, a clean stamp is an unused stamp, and that's unforgivable. I used Norma's (From My Craft Room) template, thanks Norma, just shortening the height by an inch. The sentiments and candles are silver peel-offs and the doily is another glittery silver piece. Don't three year olds love shiny things? Clear crystal bubbles mixed with Sakura Clear Stardust pen bubbles are rising from the water and I popped on some blue gems in the corners to keep the water theme going. The strip at the bottom was Cuttlebug embossed with Tiny Bubbles, then heat embossed with clear ep. You probably guessed her name is Alana and I used Puffy White epoxy alpha stickers, securely fastened with ScorTape (bless this product!) This was one of those projects that I had so much fun making, I was sad to see her go, but hopefully a sweet little girl will enjoy it, too.
