Here's a little digital card I worked on over the weekend, for a change of pace from stamping. I used Squigglefly's Lovebirds image, heat embossed the heart with Red Glitter Zing (love this stuff) and paper-pieced the birds with some leftover digi scrap paper. The background paper is from Bearly Mine Red collection. My only concession to non-digi was the red hearts and gems, a little gold-plated pearl heart from my stash, and the sweet heart print Really Reasonable Ribbon from their January collection of the month. Since RRR's weekly challenge requires HEARTS this week, I'm popping over there to enter this card in their challenge. Hope you'll check them out for their great ideas and great products. Happy weekend, everyone, and may you all have an enjoyable, productive week ahead.
Squigglefly Challenge Blog tomorrow to see what this week's design team has come up with for their weekly challenge. There's some great inspiration there and I sure hope you'll feel like joining in. Sorry, though, you'll have to wait until tomorrow to see the new designs.
