Santa's on his way

I've been working on and off on this project for so long it seems like it's been Christmas most of the year! I'm so glad I'm done, now all I have to do is find a box to fit it in to mail it off to my family. Wish me luck on that!
Since I decided to do gift cards for everyone this year I figured I'd have to at least find a way to make a dramatic presentation since I wouldn't be doing any fancy package wraps for a change. I found this idea over on the Cricut.com forum and CASEd it from one of the members. I'm so sorry I've lost that person's info but if anyone knows, please give me a holler. I measured carefully and enlarged her project so that it would fit ten gift card boxes in the sleigh, added some and changed some, but the original idea came from my Cricut source. I think it turned out pretty well and the only thing that doesn't really show up is the sparkly spritz on the red sleigh. I must say, though, I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown trying to thread those tiny jingle bells through the red ribbon reins on Rudolph and friend. I used my Crop-a-dile eyelets for the holes through which to thread the ribbon and, once done, collapsed in exhaustion and relief that I didn't ruin the whole darn thing! So, here it is - my big Christmas project of the year. Now all that's left is one more card and three mugs of Santa Claus Soup I'm making for the little ones. I'm sure I'll be posting them soon -
and before I forget - HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all who celebrate. May it be a day of good blessings, good cheer and good food!
